Smart Website
Built to work when you're not
What This Is

We built ours first.
Here's what went into it.

A smart website isn't a different kind of website. It's a regular website that has had the right pieces added to it — pieces that capture leads, answer questions, route calls, and keep working on nights and weekends without you touching anything.

This page walks through every feature on mparklab.com and explains what it does and why it's there. Each one is available as a standalone add-on or part of a full build.

You're looking at the live example right now.
Lead Capture

The contact page asks questions instead of just taking a message

Most contact forms collect a name and email and stop there. This one runs a short quiz — what kind of business, what's hurting, how urgent, what budget. By the time someone finishes, JP knows enough to respond usefully. The quiz also routes people to the right page instead of leaving them to figure it out.

Phone Handling

One phone number routes every call without you picking up

The TCM (Tenant Call Management) prototype is a phone receptionist built for apartment buildings. A tenant calls, gets identified, describes the issue, and the call gets routed to the right vendor based on priority — emergency, urgent, or routine. A record of every call is logged. Nothing lands on your personal phone unless it has to.

Conversion Tool

A calculator shows visitors exactly what their problem is costing them

Instead of asking someone to trust that this is worth it, the ROI page lets them put in their own numbers. How many calls a week, close rate, average job value. The calculator shows the monthly cost of the problem in their own business. People who see that number convert at a much higher rate than people who read about it.

Ongoing Content

The blog keeps the site alive and gives search something to index

A website with no new content is a dead website to search engines. The blog on this site publishes short, useful articles written for the people Morning Park is trying to reach — local business owners thinking about missed calls, websites, and where their time goes. Each post is also a page that can rank.

Voice Receptionist

A phone line that answers, qualifies, and books — without a person

The voice receptionist on this site picks up calls after hours, confirms who's calling, asks what they need, and routes or logs accordingly. For a local business this means no more missed calls at 7pm, no more "I'll call you back" messages that never get returned. The call either gets handled or gets logged for JP to follow up.

What's Included

Every smart website build starts with the same foundation.

The features above get layered on top depending on what the business actually needs. No feature goes in without a reason.

Fast, single-file build

No WordPress, no plugins to update, no monthly maintenance. One file per page. Loads in under a second.

📱

Mobile-first

Built from the phone up. Most of your visitors are on mobile — the site behaves accordingly.

🔎

SEO-ready structure

Proper headings, semantic HTML, meta tags, sitemap. Nothing that trips up search crawlers.

📋

Lead capture wired in

Forms connect to your CRM or inbox on day one. No leads disappear into a void.

🔁

Easy to update

JP can make changes himself or hand them off. No developer dependency for basic edits.

📈

Built to grow

Features get added when they're ready — not all at once. The site improves over time without a rebuild.

Most people start with a Workflow Map — 30 minutes to figure out what matters most, then build from there.
